8-17-2000 What a strange trip it's been......Married
since '79 to love of my life, two boys, now 17 & 18.
Lived in Truckee awhile then back in the Bay Area
until about 1985,as a self employed contractor,
then 4 years as a commercial real estate broker in San
Jose, then tried life in the desert near Tucson. Was a
caretaker (free rent!) on a 53,000 acre defunct cattle
and cotton ranch, near the Mexican border. In
1989,moved back up to Citrus Heights, still trying to
make a million in comm. real estate, didn't quite
happen so then back to contracting until 1995.
Traveled across the US on different projects, and
finally found paradise in the Mojave desert. Got into
TV biz, and am now the News Director of Nightly 5
O'clock News in North LA County. So like I said, it's
been a long strange trip, but a good one. Hope to see
you all at the 30 year reunion. Be there.....///UPDATE
7/19/2011 Funny to read this post dated 2001,
cause "the strange trip" evidently hadn't ended yet!
From where I left off, I divorced that LOML and
remarried in 2008 to the new Love of My Life and
haven't looked back since. Left the Antelope Valley
and the news biz, roamed around the US awhile and
landed in Sacramento. Operate a limousine business,
still tinker with cars. My boys are 27 and 28 now, and
I have a grandson. Look forward to seeing you all at
the 40th in October, so take care y'all!
