After reading through the "what's new" for our class
and enjoying reading the notes, I thought I'd better
write something too. After Awalt, I went to Berkeley
and graduated with a degree in Architecture. I met my
husband Mike in the Bay Area and we moved to Las
Vegas in 1970. We've been here ever since. We have
two grown sons - one a UNLV grad, now in Marketing
with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
and the other a Dartmouth grad, now a US Secret
Service Agent. I'm a licensed Architect and have
worked for Nevada Power Company-Sierra Pacific
Resources for the past 22 years, managing their
facilities and building construction for both the Las
Vegas and Reno offices. (I spend about two days per
week in Reno which is getting old after three years,
but Southwest Airlines and I have become good friends).
