Oracle, Arizona, nestled high in the Santa Catalina
Mountains, 35 east of Tucson. It's rural living; 2
dirt roads before reaching our property.

- Thouht I would give an update, since its been 3 yrs
since I did the last one. I am still living inthe
desert, have been here for nine yrs. now, however I
am hopingto move back up to the Bay Area within the
next year or two.
I am still married (23 yrs now) to Mike
I have to admit as I get older I really want to be
closer to my children and grandkids. Son Jay age 42,
has one stepchild Nicole 13 yrs, daughter Jane 43
yrs.has 2 daughters 9yrs and 8yrs they currently
reside in Westfield N.J. and I really miss them.
I am still active in my church, working parttime fo
Coldwater Creek, in Palm Desert.
I have not heard of the plans for our 50th reunion
for sometime in 2011, but am looking forward to it
Hopefully it will be a special, gosh 50 yrs since
graduation, whew!!! where did the time go?

- Live in Austin, TX with my husband Bob.
Both my children Mike and Pam moved here with us. Pam
is married with 2 boys, 10 and 8 yrs and another
grandson born to Mike and his wife Monica who is now 5
years. Grandchildren are such a joy. The boys own
several restaurants in Austin, Dallas and soon one in
San Antonio on the Riverwalk. Had many talks with Pat
Pezzella when they were planing this adventure!
Bob and I are retired from Lockheed and enjoy life.
Our home is off the 18th green of Onion Creek Club so
needless to say we both play at golf! Most frustrating
game ever!

- I raised 4 daughters while in California and then went
back to school myself. Graduated from UCSC and
graduated from American Academy of Family Studies with
my Master's degree. Currently I am a Licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist both in California and now
Colorado. I am opening the Cripple Creek Counseling
Center here in Cripple Creek, CO Jan. 2008. My work
also includes being a certified Child and Family
Investigator and making reports to the courts re:
child custody issues. I live at an elevation of nearly
10,000 feet here in the Rocky Mountains and enjoy my
critters----dogs, cats and horses. All four of my
grandchildren live too far away! Two in Chico, CA and
two in northern Idaho. I'd love to hear from other
MVHS class of 1961 grads. How can it possibly be THAT
LONG since we graduated???!!!!

the last six months of my senior, but I did pitch on
the varsity baseball team that year. I graduated from
San Jose State and later got an MBA from the U. of
Utah. Spent 28 years in the Navy and now live in San
Diego with my wife of 40 years. We have one daughter

- Am now living in Willits, CA. It's about 150 mi north
of San Francisco. Very rural! I'm currently teaching

(Austin) since Nov 1995. Tony retired on Jan 5th
2001 from being a Training
Manager for Dell Computer. Tony also has a consulting
business delivery Insights Discovery workshops and
loves it. Susan has her home business of Longaberger
Baskets has been PTA President for over 4 years. We
have two boys. Scott, is attending Baylor Univ and
Brian attends Stony Point High School.

We have two wonderful daughters, three lovely grand
daughters and a grand son. Judy is retired, I retired
from the USPS August 1, 1997. I am still working full
time for APWU Local #71 in Mtn. View.
We still live in Sunnyvale CA.
We have already scheduled our 45th class reunion. As
of now our reunion will be @ Michaels, Shoreline on

who is a filmmaker, and has received emmy,peabody,
maggie etc (we're so proud). He is married to Cassady
who produces the evening news. They have a son 7 and
daughter 4 months. Todd is a contractor, married to
Sharyn, a lawyer. They have 2 sons 6 & 1 and a
daughter 7. And Jeffery a Builder too, is married to
Rose who writes for the Carmel Pinecone Newspaper.
They have two sons, 2 and 1 week. Ray and I are
still working and enjoying our grandchildren very
much.

- After HS, I joined the Air Force, 4 years, Philippines
& Japan. Then on to college, Bob Jones University
(SC), got an education and a wife, Marion (I'm happy
with both. Marion & I just celebrated our 33rd.)
Since then, worked as teacher in private Christian
schools in Florida, Georgia, and Idaho. Just
finished doctorate last year. Now I'm teaching Bible
classes in Pensacola Christian College. We have one
daughter, Debbie, who lives with her husband and
daughter in Kansas City. I enjoy kayaking in the
rivers and bayous of northwest Florida.
Today is 10/7/2011. My wife Marion & I will retire
within the month. Then moving to Colorado to be near
the grandkids (3). Wish I could be there for the 50th
reunion.

- Hi all, just found this web site and it was wonderful to be able
to read what some of you have been up to in the last 45
years. Let's just say...isn't life interesting? For each of us it
would take books to tell of where life (God) has been taking
us in these intervening years. But in a nut shell: I have been
married to Bob for 36 years; two stepdaughters in their 40s,
grandchildren in their 20's and now two greats (very cute). I
substitute taught for 30 years and then decided to be a
watercolorist, which I've been doing for about 10 years now-
check out my web site and artists.com. Bob's retired from the
SJ Fire Dept. We live in the incredibly beautiful SC
mountains; I have a lovely garden, counsel post abortive
women at the Pregnancy Center in Santa Cruz, very active in
my church, also work out 3 days a week. So life is full in this
neck of the woods. Through our lives is a golden thread that
says that God is always faithful and always loving. that just
about says it all.

- I have been retired since January 2001 and I don't
miss my 65 miles each way commute. I volunteer one
day a week at the Kaiser Clinic in Milpitas and love
it. I am also very active in the Santa Clara
Historical and Genealogical Society. I am their
Recording Secretary. Genealogy is my hobby. My
husband could care less about his second cousin two
times removed. My husband Willis is unemployed like
most other engineers in Silicon Valley expecially
those in the Tele Communications field. Thank
goodness for other income! We keep waiting for the
economy to turn around some time soon.

- I am married to Errol van Blerk, live in Sydney Australia and have
three children. Elisa-Marie is 38 and lives in San Mateo. She was
married a year ago and they plan to move back to Sydney next
year. Maegan is 30, has two children and lives in Sydney.
Brenden is 28, lives in Foster City and is being married in
September. He will be moving back to Sydney in the next couple
of years. Both kids in the Bay Area want to start families and raise
their kids here in Australia and we're thrilled to think we'll have all
our kids in the one place again and will be able to see our
grandchildren grow up.
I am the Managing Partner in a learning and development
consultancy (www.bensonfurrie.com.au) and work with top
management teams and their direct reports to help them with
their leadership skills and with developing their people for the
future.
I seriously dislike 'sewing', but I've become an avid quilter over
the last few years so when I can steal some free time, it's usually
off to my quilting room. Errol and I have really taken to this
whole coffee culture thing too (very big here in Aussie) and love
to spend time at our favourite Gloria Jeans. I also love reading
and watching movies. We've got almost 1000 on our system now
so there's always something to put on while I'm working on a
project. We used to do a lot of bushwalking too, but I had a
serious accident three years ago and that's put a crimp in the kind
of walking we do.
I'm very lucky. My husband and I are best friends and have
a lot of fun together, I get paid for doing what I love doing, the
kids have turned out to be really nice people, and life feels terrific
at the moment. I am very grateful and look forward to what the
future will bring.
One of the things I'm looking forward to is building a house.
We've finally finished the design of our 'perfect' house and now
have to make it happen. I've never been interested in being a
homeowner before, have lived in 51 houses in my life, not to
mention moving countries, and am finally ready to settle down.
Another thing I'm looking forward to is being at our 50th Reunion
(and how did 50 years go by so fast, I ask you?!). My son and his
fiance even set their wedding date just before the reunion so we
can make one trip and attend both events. I haven't been able to
get to the US for any reunion since the 20th one, so look forward
to catching up in October.

- After High School, I joined USMC, 1961-1965, went
into showbizz in 1967...various movies, T.V. shows,
commercials, full-time student, and attended Cal-
State Los Angeles, 1972-1974 and in 1974, joined cast
of "Chico & The Man", as co-star and Freddie Prinze's
best friend "Mando" untill Freddie's death, in
1977. continued working in plays, TV shows, National
commercials, for Schlitz beer (billboards), AT&T,
Mountain Bell, McDonalds, United Way, and part of
resume of people worked with, and movies and shows
can be found on...isaacruiz.com...left showbizz 4
years after Fredddie's death, became a traveling
evangelist, ordained July 25th, 1982. ("Walking In
Love Ministries") Moved to Arizona in 1983, went
from "fast" lane, to slow lane. Worked for local
Television and Radio stations, as Salesman, became
G.M. of some radio stations. I moved from T.V. to
radio, because someone said I have a great face for
radio...Now Corporate Relations Officer, for
Dedicated Dental Service, in Tucson, Arizona, and
recently remarried. MY wife of 30 years died at the
beginning of 2001. We had 9 children, my present wife
has 5 children, so I now have 14. Hard to sum up 45
years in a few paragraphs, but I hope I have been
somewhat informative, of my life....FYI...I am
looking to move back to California, next year, and
have extensive experience, in Public Relations...as a
General Manger, VP, or National Sales in radio, or
T.V., and would like to move within Santa Clara

Where to start? I moved to Gold Beach, Or. a year ago
- bought a wonderful home on the Rogue River, about 4
miles from the ocean. I have had my own
accounting/bookkeeping business for about 30 yrs,
called "Money Matter$".
My daughter, Tami, is now 38 (how in the world did she
get that old, when I think I'm still 35?). She is
married, with 2 kids, 5 & 7. They live in Issaquah,
Wa., so I don't get to see them as much as I'd like. I
really LOVED being a mom - but being a grandparent is
MUCH BETTER!
I lived in Bend, Or. for 11 years, prior to coming
here, but it got too big for me. My life has been very
interesting, but not perfect - damn! I have travelled
a lot, and am glad to be still for awhile. I have 2
cockers and a cat, and we are all senior citizens now.
How can that be?

- First went to Europe on a two year assignment
back in 1977. Have a boy born in Frankfurt '79, and
a daughter born in Geneva,Switzerland '82. I stopped working as a
computer consultant and am now a house painter and love to see
our growing list of our graduating class. My
wife is a special needs teacher at the International
School of Geneva. My son graduated from Tufts as
an Engineer and is working in New York City. My
daughter graduated from Gordon College
outside Boston, Masters at Emory and now completed 2 years in
Rwanda with the US Peace Corps and now in Los Angeles.
Still in Geneva and enjoying Europe. So sorry to miss our big reunion
but would love to hear stories of it. Love to all.

- Been married to my husband Ron since l966. Hard to
believe we are getting close to 40 years together.
We have three children and three grandchildren. Have
lived in so many different places but been in
Henderson, Nevada the past 15 years. Ron was a
helicopter pilot (Vietnam era) so we did quite a bit
of moving around. I worked for IBM Credit Union for
15 years as manager and Ron worked at San Jose Int'l
Airport in Dept of Aviation same amount of time.
Ron offered position doing essentially same job at
McCarran Airport in Las Vegas so we moved again in
1989. Have enjoyed living here and watching this
area growup the past 15 years. Ron retired 4 years
ago and we always seem to be busy. Lots of company
and frequent visits to our children that don't live
in Nevada.
