- Still here, still surviving, somehow. Life's not easy
for a garage machine shop in a rural county that lived
off the real estate boom for the past decade or two.
But things are picking up, which is good as it's going
to cost me about $20k all included for immigration and
moving my shop to Australia. I start the paperwork this
year. It'll all come together probably by March 2012
and I'll have my permanent residency.
May challenge for trades papers (equivalent to
Journeyman papers here) in welding and machining. But
probably going to settle for semi-retirement. My
machine shop will finally become the hobby shop I
always wanted it to be and I can start building
miniature engines, and maybe, just maybe, a steam
locomotive...
Nephew down under can get me into the local grocery
store as a night filler. $22/hr, 3wks pd vac, 2wks pd
sick, pd holidays, and medical, 5 hours a night. With
our house there paid for, we'll be in great shape.
Dang, wish I could start right now!
This October will be my last chance to make it to
Cuesta, and really going to try.

- since graduation....went to Foothill, worked, got
married, had a kid, moved to Alaska, had two more
kids, moved to Utah, got divorced, went back to school
and got degree, got remarried, had one more kid, got
divorce again, now working full time and enjoying life
to the fullest. That is my life in a small nutshell!
Praise the Lord!
Married a wonderful man from Alaska and currently
settling into a house in Utah.

- I’m surprised that more people aren’t using this
website to contact their old class mates. I now live
in San Jose (didn’t move to far away). I grew up in
Mountain View but my family moved to Sunnyvale after
my Sophomore year so I actually graduated at Fremont
High but my friends were still in Mountain View. Do
you remember me?

- Hi everybody,
I've been living in Battle Mt. Nevada since 1979 yes the
infamous armpit of America according to the Washington
post (but its not).
Ive been maried to Kim for the last ten years. shes a
nevada girl. between us we have six kids the youngest is
now 20 and all are out on their own.
Ive been an electrical tech at a large powerplant here for
20 years while my wife is a domestic engineer and
expert fisher woman.
Cant wait to see everyone at the reunion in October.

Almost forgot the three grandkids ,Kims oldest daughter
has a 2 year old girl named Reese, Kims youngest
daughter has a 1 year old boy named Shelton and my

- I moved to Nevada 3 yrs ago. I'm married (3rd time is
a charm)to a great guy named Cecil. (Linda Jofuku is
standing next to me proofreading this.)I have one
son,22 yr old, Derrick. He is in LA working as a
chef. I have 2 dogs and one cat. We all retired from
the Bay Area in '01. Worked at Space Systems/Loral
for 16 yr. I now work for myself. I have a sewing
workroom in my home and stay very busy. My family
still lives in MV. I visit all the time. Life is
good, Baby!!!!!!!!!!!

just past away. Been married for 26 years. Have two
daughters, ages 22 and 20. The 22 year old attends
National Hispanic University in San Jose and will
graduate June 2007 as will I. I also attend National
Hispanic Unversity. The 20 year old attends The Art
Institute of California at San Fransisco.

- Still living in Mountain View. Married to Gloria
(Sias) for 26 years. We have two sons. Nick our
oldest just finished up his 1st year as a 'grad'
student at Cal. Our youngest, Chris is attending UC
Davis. Which means that Gloria and I are empty-
nesters!! Nick recently published a book on the
history of Mountain View (July, 2006). Check it out -
it's published through Arcadia Publishing: Images of
America "Mountain View"!

- I left Mtn. View shortly after graduation in '75. I
didn't go to far, just 4 hrs northeast to a town
called Paradise. I still live with my Mom and Dad when
I'm home. After graduation I served in the Military
for 2 years. After that a friend of mine talked me
into going to a truck driving school in Eugene, OR.
I've been driving a semi truck ever since. I met my
husband John 15 years ago. We were
married 13 years ago and ran as a team hauling
explosives for the Military across this country and
Canada. We have retired from driving a truck after 40
years (total between the two of us). We are currenty
in Paradise with my parents as they are in their 90's
and 80's and not in very good health.
I would love to hear from some of you if you remember
me. I am going to try and make it to alumni gathering
in October. I never knew there was one every year.
This site is great and I hope to hear from anyone who
remembers me.
