- Hello,
I've been working at SFSU since 1989. I am currently
the Building Coordinator for the library. I wrestled
for the Gators, we used to be the Golden Gaters, and
graduated with a B.A. in Kinesiology. I put in a few
years as a wrestling coach here but I have hung up my
shoes. I am enjoying other things like fishing, darts,
and riding my motorcycle. I'm still single and having
fun living in "The City by the Bay" and working at the
Fillmore too. Take care.

- I graduated from UC Davis in 1985 and got an MBA
from UC Berkeley a few years later. I do finance
and accounting for high-tech companies, and have
greatly enjoyed seeing the changes in Silicon Valley
over the years.
My husband and I lived in Singapore for a few years
(2006-2008, loved the easy-but-exotic life there); took
all of 2009 off for travel (Australia, New Zealand,
Turkey, Tunisia, a fair amount of central/eastern
Europe, 5 weeks in NYC). Now settled back in Silicon
Valley (Mountain View, to be exact).
I've led an active, adventurous life -- taken great
long bike tours, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, gone
trekking in Nepal and Peru, taught the macarena to a
group of Cambodian kids, gone whitewater rafting in 8
countries, rode a camel in the Sahara, surfed in
New Zealand, had dinner by candlelight in an ancient
fort in Jodphur (India), run a marathon, and lots more.

1985, who also attended MVHS. I still keep in touch
with a couple of people from school, but not many.

- I had started out my California career at Crittenden
and moved to MVHS in 1978...I was abrubtly pulled
from MVHS due to my Father being in the Navy and
moving to a GOD forsaken state called Maine...Can you
believe it, my Senior year and I had to move...well,
I have been able to keep in touch with Roslyn Coleman
and she turned me onto this website...I joined the
Navy and spent 20 wonderful years protecting our
country...I now live in Ocala, Florida and would
really like for anyone that remembers me to drop me a
line sometime...I miss Mountain View and I miss
MVHS...I was pretty sad that they tore down that
beautiful school...ya'll hit me up if ya like...

- I am a mother of 7 ranging in ages 25 to 7 and I do
private social work. I know reside in Sunny Long
Beach, California but do get to the Bay Area quite
often, there is nothing like home. It was so nice to
find out all the tributes to MVHS, I did not know any
existed until I had a conversation with an old
Crittenden classmate and we decided to research old
yearbook information, glad we did.

- Hey All! I've been 'finding' myself for the past 20
years...I'm still looking and enjoying the
process...I've learned lots of
things about myself and life along the way. I spent 4
years on active duty in the Air Force and after an 8
year career in the IT industry, I am now a freelance
writer. I'm still affiliated with the military - a
reserve member of the D.C. Air National Guard where I
work in Public Affairs. I have my BA in Communications
from the University of Maryland. I'm not married and
have no children. I live a very active life...since
1993 I've loved to play golf...understand, I love to
play, I'm not at all good - even after 8 years! *L* I
enjoy white water rafting, bike riding, playing tennis
and just doing anything fun! I'm looking forward to
seeing everyone at the reunion!

- After graduating in 1981, I attended Berkeley with a
few MVHS alums (Darryl Lee, among others). After
graduating from Cal, I went on to law school at the
University of San Francisco (what else can you do with
a political science degree?). For some reason I still
can't quite figure out (Miami Vice was on TV?), I
accepted a job as an Assistant State Attorney in
Jacksonville, Florida. Intending to return to
Northern California in three years, I'm still here. I
was a prosecutor for six-and-a-half years, and handled
death penalty and other homicide cases for almost five
years before leaving to go into civil practice in
1996. I'm currently a partner in a small firm. Now
married for 12 years, we have two kids - Zachary, age
5, and Jaden, 1 1/2.

Glad to know this site is here - what a great way to keep in touch
or re-connect.
After high school, I traveled a bit (England, West Africa, all over the
U.S.), sang and played in a couple of local rock bands, and worked for
local social service agencies while completing a BA and an MA at San
Jose State. I married Robi (Suzi Kramer, '82). We settled just down the
road here in SJ, where I'm a school counselor, she's a school teacher,
and our boy is a high school freshman - all in the same school district.
We all enjoy the outdoor life - hiking, camping, running, swimming, as
well as traveling in general.
Yep, life's pretty good for us, and we hope it is for you, too.

- Graduated 1985 from UCR with bachelors in Business
and Sociology. Married in 1988, 2 kids (Ashley, 14
and Alex, 6). Moved from Fremont, CA to San Antonio,
TX in 1994. Husband, Scott, is a VP for the
Information Systems Division of World Savings, with
their operations center here in San Antonio. I work
on the Florida assessment test development team at
Harcourt Assessment, specializing in Reading Content
for grades 3-10. Traveled with my daughter to Kenya
for 2.5 weeks this summer on a mission trip with our
church. Built a school and a church, went on 2
safaris, and did some siteseeing.
Would love to hear from anyone from Awalt HS, no
matter what graduating class!
