What's New?: Oh, Boy, where to start!!!! A few months after
graduation, I moved to Hawaii, and lived (somewhat)
independently for about two years. Then I got married,
and moved to Texas. Two children later, I finally
realized that there is no place like the "Silicon
Valley", so in 1992, I packed everything up, one more
time, (everything except the husband, he stayed in
Texas), and came back home, where I belong. Now I am
living in Mountain View with my two beautiful sons,
David and Danny.

What's New?: We live in Los Altos. I have three boys ages 14 (just started at Mountain
View this year), 12, and 9. I teach middle school physical education in
Cupertino. When not working I am a permanent driver for the kids
getting them to their various sporting events. I still play soccer with Vicki
Sanfilippo and keep in touch with many other 84 grads who still live in

What's New?: Hi everyone. I'll keep it brief.

I graduated from Cal Poly (SLO) and, yes, I did run
for them. After that, I attended various colleges for
the fun of it, until my wife suggested that I stop.

Speaking of my wife, I got married in 1988 to a
Pasadena girl, Ann. We had our first son, Jacob, in
1989. He goes to HIGH SCHOOL this September. Yikes!
It doesn't end there. My other kids, Zachary (10),
Hannah (7), and Elijah (3) say, "hi."

I worked in the private sector in the environmental
field for about ten years. I did not really enjoy it
too much, so I quit. I now work in the public sector
(i.e., LA Co Fire Dept) as a deputy health officer
(environmental enforcement). I am a wantabe
environmentalist. Quite often, I have been thinking
about alot of you. My father recently passed away,
and I have been thinking about the people in my life.
Hopefully, I have not missed the reunion. I look

What's New?: I got married in 1985, my husband is in the Navy so we
went to Guam for 2 years, then got stationed back at
Moffett Field for 2 years. Then we moved to Whidbey
Island Washington in February of 1990 and have been
here ever since. Our 1st son was born in Guam, his
name is Justin. Then our daughter was born in Oakland,
her name is Samantha. Our last son was born here and
his name is Curtis. My husband, Ray, has 3 years left
in the Navy. Dont know what we will do after that.
Still best friends with Jodie(Fanning)Karr. If there

What's New?: I just celebrated my 14th year anniversary on June
26th- course, my husband and I always forget to
celebrate until after the fact....ooopss... We've
been together for almost 20 years though. We have an
11 year old daughter- and she's a real handful!
She'll be starting the 6th grade at the end of this
month. Which over here in the East Bay is already
junior high. (remember good ol' Graham?) She's
excited and so am I as her school starts at 8:25 and
is only 1 mile away. I have lots of furry critters. I
work as a receptionist for a veterinary office. Have
been working in the veterinary field for the last 20
years or so. We moved over here to Oakley, which is
next door to Antioch in case you were wondering.
We've been here for almost 10 years now. We sold our
house in Mountain View for about 200 thousand and who
would have thought that a few years back that little
800 square foot house sold for close to 600
thousand...sigh.... And the pits is, we moved over
here to be close to the "in-laws" but a few years
back- they took off to Texas! I put my foot down
though- moving 90 minutes away was hard enough- And
it was hard enough acclimating to the heat over here
so Texas? NO Freaking Way!!! Anyway- feel free to
write back if any of you people remember me.... I
know where Tammie Chambers is.....except she's living
with a man that makes about 200 grand a year- so
sorry guys...she's taken. But she still looks great!

What's New?: Immediately after graduation, I started working at
Stanford Linear (SLAC) and I�ve
been there ever since moving through the
ranks and making a career out of it. From graduation
until I was about 26 my life was pretty much about
partying, martial arts, work, and some school.
At that time I got together with a friend I�d known
since Jr. High, her name was Nicole Gray, now Diaz.
She did attend MVHS for a short time, some of you may
remember her, although she does admit to a very bad
case of shyness back then.
We were married in 94�. We now live in Fremont, we
have 4 kids, Catalina 21 (She just gave us a grandson
Elijah), Mike 14, Gregory Jr. 9, and Mariah 8, and
they all live with us! It is a blessing (but crazy).
We are very much involved in children and youth
ministries through our
church, we have finally purchased our first
house. I have enough dreams and goals to keep me
going for (another) life time. Please feel free

What's New?: Hi fellow Godspell Cast Members and to the others who
I enjoyed those few years with....

After Awalt/MV, I went to Foothill for a year, then
DeAnza, followed by joining the Naval
Reserves...why...I guess it got me to stop smoking
pot : )

Then I got serious and went to College of Notre Dame
(1988 - 92 "Late Bloomer") where I got my BA in
Biology, why BA and not BS...hated physics!

After teaching Biology and Chemistry at a private high
school near Lake Tahoe, starving on a teacher's
salary, I went back to finish my MBA so I could get
a "Real" job.

Then in 1994 fell in love with a Swiss girl, who I met
at CND, who later dumped me, but in the process I
moved to Europe where I live today. I met a new girl
(Bettina) and we married in 1996. We are still
married and enjoy coming back to the states a couple
times a year. (email me, maybe we can hook up for a
glass of Chardonnay on one of our visits!) (beer is
soooo High School : ) )

Three things I remember from High School:

1. How I used to laugh at all of the "Preppy" guys
in the quad, but now dress like one - some styles
never fade :)

2. How much fun I had with all of the cast members
of Godspell - Come on Sue, Tim, Corey, Anita
etc....where are you guys, someone write to
me...please

3. How much of a crush I had on Tammy Dowie from a
far....now that was a cheer leader!

What's New?: The old news is that, after spending a year in Germany,
I went to CAL (toooooo big), Foothill (tooooo small),
and finally ended up at UCSC (juuuust right), where I
weathered the '89 quake (house fall down, go boom).
After that, I went to medical school at UCSF and
concurred the CAL monster by getting my Masters of
Public Health there when I was taking a "break" from
med school. I ended up in Santa Rosa for residency as
a family practice doctor, then I did a year of
specialized training in HIV medicine.

I "came out" as a lesbian a decade ago, and several
years ago I got my "two-for-one" deal: I met my
wonderful partner Julie and her (now OUR) amazing 4
year old (now 8 year old) daughter, Mira. A family
person at heart, I am deliriously happy.

In December 2000 we took volunteer jobs in
the northern jungle region of Guatemala, where we now
live. Julie and I train lay health
workers and Mira is in second grade. We are expecting
a baby in December 2002.

After high school, I went to Menlo College and received
a minor in Business, and then to Cal Poly San Luis and
got my BA in English.

Since then, I have been a motorcycle instructor, Bar
Manager, Personal Trainer, and Research Analyst.

I now live in Mountain View, with my beautiful South
African Wife. We have a beautiful daughter who is 4
years old, and a great little son 3 months old. I run a
Property Management Company in the Silicon Valley.

I visit my brother Steve in London who is Vice
President of a Trading Company, and visit South Africa
regularly to vist my wonderful inlaws.

I keep in touch with Greg Miller's family.

What's New?: Continued pursuing my interest in art and art history
after HS on my own, by traveling, and at practically
every local JC in the area... did a little more
theatre and dance stuff, and eventually wound up in
art school in San Francisco & got a degree in Interior
Architectural Design. I've been living in SF for about
15 years now, and still love it as much as when I
first moved up here. I still do some freelance art,
calligraphy and jewelry design work when I can, but
spend most of my time working for a non-profit
architectural preservation group here in SF
(www.sfheritage.org) where I manage the
volunteer/docent program. Also have a "sensible"
(read: boring) job downtown to actually pay the rent
and support my non-profit habit. Am still in touch
with most of my closest friends from high school days,
but would love to get back in touch with those I've
somehow lost track of - if that's you (or even if it's
not!) get in touch w/ me, already, ferpete'ssakes!

What's New?: Hi all -
Has it been 20 years? After getting my BA in Math at
UCSC, I came to San Diego for my Masters. I've been
working and teaching part-time for the community
college district. Met my wonderful husband here - an
officer in the Navy. We've been lucky to only live in
Virginia and San Diego.... so far. And we're even
luckier to have our beautiful little girl, Sierra, who
is 22 months old.

Would love to hear everyone's stories but won't be
able to come to the reunion!! :-( However, my
parents still live in MV and we visit occasionally.

What's New?: After Mountain View/Awalt High I went on to earn a BA
in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, then on to Oregon
State University in Corvallis, Oregon to earn a BA in
Elementary Education.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Mike, and we
have six boys and one girl (Wyatt 29, Gabe 27, Kurtis
22, Peter 18, Graham 15, Nathan 8, and Carlie 4!) The
oldest three boys are stepsons for me.

Mike and I are partners in a winery here in
Corvallis, Oregon. It is called Belle Vall�e Cellars,
and we specialize in Pinot Noir. We produce 20,000
cases a year and our wines are sold all over the US
and now Japan and Canada too. We made Wine
Spectators 'Top 100' last year, pretty wild.

My life is happy and busy. I love my family and job
and we always seem to be on some sort of new
adventure! I am having fun and feel blessed and
grateful to be enjoying life the way I am.

If you're ever planning to visit Oregon, please
contact me - I'd love to see anyone from our class
and catch up....and, if you want to taste some of
Oregon's best Pinot Noir (no kidding), you know who to
call.

What's New?: Greetings from Aotearoa!
Wow, life can really change on you. Hubby got laid off
from his job just over two years ago. He read up on NZ
effort to make there own tech base and decided to check
out NZ. Well, he found tech job here in Auckland and we
joined him Jan 06.We live up the hill from the Tamaki
Straights in Bucklands Beach. A eastern suburb of
Auckland. Cute country, still miss my home and family.
My son is now 11 and in middle school here.He is crazy
about computers,art and RPG's. Thinks sport is no fun.A
geek becoming!I'm so proud!;-)

What's New?: Graduated from UNR in '89, got commissioned in the
Army and was in Germany until 1992. Met my wonderful
husband there and got out of the Army. Lived in TX
where we had three children (now 10, 8, and 5), then
WA, and now IA. Just had blessing #4 and we're loving
every minute of having a newborn again! I homeschool
our children and got into doing triathlons a couple of
years ago (I still run like a snail, but I'm having
lots of fun with the swimming and biking!). DH
retires this summer and we've decided to stay here in
Iowa.

What's New?: Hi All!
I have been working as a drug and alcohol counselor for
the past six years. Three of those years with woman
and the past two with the homeless/mentally ill
population. Now I am working with young men and woman
in Juvenile Hall facilitating groups. My DREAM Job! My
husband and I own a
business. It is a Custom Home Theater Company. Power
House Design.
I have two daughters, one is 18 (just Graduated from
Presentation High) the other is 7. They keep me real
busy !

What's New?: Hello everyone!

I've been keeping busy these past 2 decades being a
career woman, traveling, getting married and having
children, like most of you. I married Scott in 1996,
have a beautiful daughter Katelin born in 2000 & an
adorable little baby boy, Jackson born in 2002. We
currently live in the Oakland/San Leandro area, but
wish to leave and find more for our money. I'm mostly
a stay-at-home-mom, and work occasionally at Nordstrom
Pleasanton to get out and to get some extra cash. I

What's New?: Foothill, then an MIS degree from USF. First I wanted
to be an artist, then a filmmaker, but instead became
a Database Project Mgr at HP. 10 years of high tech,
then I up and quit to take a solo 5 month and 18,000
mile journey around the US. I recommend it highly!

Now I'm living near Santa Barbara and working as
Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Ojai
Valley School, a private boarding school.

Update: Just accepted a position at the Oregon
Shakespeare Festival in Ashland as the Director of
Major Gifts. Life is wonderful here. I couldn't be
happier.

What a fun 20 yr. reunion we had! After I settle in,
I will round up the MVHS Oregonians for a mini-
reunion.

What's New?: Wow,
Can't believe it's been 20 years.
After graduating MVHS I went to BYU, Foothill, UCLA
and University of Paris (FRANCE). I guess I liked to
travel. Decided to go to culinary schools and
graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and The Ritz Hotel.
Moved to Roseville Ca. and opened a couple of French
restaurants and have had them for the past 13 years.
I decided to retire for a while and sold the
restaurants. Drove my wife crazy, being around the
house too much, so I will be opening another
restaurant in June 2005.
Married my wife Debbie after I moved back from France
and have 4 children.
Parker 11, Kyler 8, Macie 5, Kensley 18 months.
I'm still very athletic, you have to be with this
many kids, and love coaching their teams.
I still do things with Jerry Garrett and his awesome
family.
All in all Lifes Great!

What's New?: Hello All,

What a great discovery, to be able to contact long
lost friends and acquaintances! =) Most of you knew me
by William in school. Changed it so Americas Most
Wanted couldnt find me. JK I didnt actually
graduate from High School. I ended up taking the GED
and leaving Mtn View High early. Although my time
there was short, I do have many fond memories of some
good friends and great people. Some of those names are
listed in this directory. I didnt really have a
purpose after school and wandered aimlessly until i
decided to finish college in Arizona at ASU. Came back
because Arizona is hotter than hell plus I belong here
in the land of overinflated housing, and the wonderful
parking lots they call freeways here. I worked in the
Beverage industry in sales for 12 years. Was married
for 7 years and lived in Fremont for that time and now
i reside in Pleasanton. I now work in Sacramento (yes
i do the commute) as Director of Strategic Alliances
for an innovative, cutting edge Wireless company. I
just work hard,hang out with old friends and you're
most likely to find me at a Karaoke bar singing with
my friends and meeting new ones. Maybe I will run into
one of ya'll sometime. I know Karaoke sounds nerdy or
boring but when you are 36 or so, you gotta pace
yourself, if you know what I mean! LOL Thank you to

City of Mountain View Recreation Department for 12
years before leaving to join the Palo Alto Fire

What's New?: Since leaving MVHS, I earned my Bachelor's and my MBA
and managed to get married somewhere in between to a
hunk of a football/baseball player from Wilcox High.
We have 3 terrific children, 1 girl and 2 boys. I'm

What's New?: The last listing seemed a bit disconnected, so decided to update...

After HS went to a military college in NM but decided that the military
life wasn't for me after all. After a short stint at UNM decided to move
back to the Bay Area and after some time off from school went back.
First WVJC and then SJSU where I finally graduated (Dec 1990) with a
degree in manufacturing. Worked for about 6 years in the Silicon
Valley but decided that the ups and downs of the hi-tech industry
wasn't for me and decided for a "stable" job in the airline industry as a
pilot. Dreamt of flying 747s internationally, but now that I'm older and
wiser (wife (Lori) agrees with first part but not the second) I've decided
to hang my hat at a regional airline flying mostly in my own time-zone
if I can help it. I got married in 1991 and after many years we decided
to have kids. Sold the house in San Jose and moved to San Luis Obispo
in 2000 and had our first daughter Anneke in 2001. Kaia came in
2004 and we decided that that was enough. Lori and the kids have
been setting some deep roots here in SLO, so I guess we're here to
stay... enjoying the SLO life.

What's New?: Konnichiwa ! Here is my 2 paragraph C.V. post MVHS:

After MVHS, I spent 2 years at Foothill then
transferred to UC Berkeley, graduating in 1988.
Though I dreamed of working as a forest ranger or a
lawyer for the EPA, when somewhere along the line I
watched a re-run of Alex Haley's "Roots" and decided I
wanted to find my own "Kunta Kente"... only in my
case, it was finding my "Kunta Kente-san" in the land
of my "Gure-to Ansesuta-zu" (great ancestors in
Japalish). I took the first job that would take me to
Japan while at the same time would give me work
experience so that I could find a "real job" later.
Well, as it turned out, that turned out to be The
Sumitomo Bank, Ltd. who promised me a 2-3 tour of duty
in Japan. That place was like boot camp ! I ended up
spending the next 10 years with them working in their
M&A, Project Finance, Aircraft Leasing, Structured
Trade Finance, Loan Syndications, and Relationship
Management teams in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and
Singapore. A far cry from the tree-hugger occupation
of my dreams ! Fortunately, I had nothing to do with
the Three Gorges Dam Project!!!

In 1998 and after having learned my roots, bark,
stems, and leaves, and all I took an offer from
Citibank Tokyo in 1998 where I worked for 2 years as
the Marketing Director before moving back to the front
line for the last 3 years in corporate sales where I
currently am the VP in charge of the Branded Consumer
& Retail, and the and the Power,Energy & Mining
industries for multinational corporations in Japan.

I still love the outdoors and stay active mountain
biking, hiking (yes, I've climbed Mt. Fuji which for
some reason in "The Last Samurai" was moved by
wheelbarrow to just the back of Tokyo), fishing, etc.

Well, enough for now. Hope to see you all at the 20th
reunion.... in the meantime.... HAVE A GREAT
SUMMER !!!

* Two commemorative DVDs are available as a set for
$8 plus $2 shipping. One DVD is a slideshow with
current and 1984 pictures. The other DVD also has old
and new pictures, plus 1984 fun stuff, such as
trailers from movies, scans of the Seniors section of
the 1984 yearbook, and popular music of the year.
* VHS copies of the TV20 Dance Party video of 1984
are also available by e-mailing Sharon Brown above.
