Hey there,
I'm in my second to last quarter at Cal Poly,
SLO...I'll be done in March and walk in June with a
degree in Communication Studies. Right now I am the
Program Development intern at The Family Care Network
for the Transitional Housing Placement Program.
Basically I am working to further develop this neat
program that helps kids that have grown up in foster
care transition to independece. Since it is an unpaid
internship I am still working for a professor in the
Political Science department as a program assistant
facilitating projects with undergrad poly sci students.
After graduation I am thinking about pursuing a
career in non-profit program development and or
communication consulting.
Between Charles (boyfriend of two years)
finishing up school, and three very part time jobs I
don't have a lot of free time but when I get a chance
I usually end up swing dancing or cleaning the house.
